The Atenas Rotary Club is one of 14 clubs throughout Costa Rica. We are one of 57 clubs in our District, which includes El Salvador, Panama, Nicaragua and Costa Rica.

In April, 2026 representatives from the Rotary Clubs of Costa Rica traveled to the National Assembly building in San Jose, to take part in the ceremony to receive the award for the highest recognition of public service in Costa Rica, the Meritorious Institution of Social Service.
